The kids woke up to this sight. Nice, right?! Santa was very generous and brought them each 3 things.
He got Madie this Playmobile castle set, complete with unicorns!
He also got them a joint gift - Super Mario Bros Chess Set! It is sooo cool!! One side has Mario and Luigi, Peach and Toad. The other side has Bowser, Bowser Jr and Goomba. :-)
Pete bought each of the kids a book. Here, Livie is looking at her new bird book with daddy. She can't wait to look at it with Nana T!

We got Livie this little pony rocker for her Baby Elizabeth doll. It's really cute. It can rock or it can be pushed like a stroller.
We got Noah this motorized erector set. He loves to build, so this should be lots of fun for him.
And, of course, there had to be some sock monkeys! He got 2 sock monkeys as well as this sock monkey hat and gloves set!
Livie got Strawberry Shortcake and her 2 friends there. She has the ones Madie got when she was little, so this will add to her collection.
After the kids had finished, Pete got to open his! Of course, the girls had to help. ;-)
I found this shirt and just had to get it! Thought it was so cute!
The biggest surprise I had for him was this cornhole game set! I couldn't decide what design to put on it. I thought about putting the Bears or the Cubs on them, but they lose and disappoint him. The one thing I know never disappoints him is Star Wars. The gal that made them did a great job!
She hasn't clear coated them yet, but will do it in the spring. She just lives right around the block from us. Liked how she did a distressed look on the logo.
This is a copy of the picture I sent her where Darth kind of faded into the background. Cool, huh?! He was really excited about them and we're looking forward to the springtime when we can have visitors and play!
Pete got Noah his first REAL toolbox and tools. He and Noah were looking through it together, comparing what they each have. Noah's ready to help his daddy fix something soon.

Here's Madie showing off hers. She got lots of Star Wars action figures and 2 ships! They'll have a lot of fun with those, I'm sure.
And, here is Noah with his loot. Notice the sock monkeys strewn around. He's walked away this christmas with 4-5 sock monkeys. He's thrilled!

Santa wrote them a nice note and ate pretty much all of the fantastic snickerdoodles we made yesterday. Trust me, they were yummy! ;-)
The first thing they played with was the chess set. It's pretty cool. Livie just wanted to hold Yoshi. Didn't much care to play the game.
While the kids were playing, we got to work building. There are always packages to undo, things to build, etc.. That's our job on Christmas.
After the chess game, Noah planted himself on the couch with his DS and basically hasn't moved since breakfast. Have a feeling he'll be like that until the batteries die. ;-)
Madie's doing the same thing. Zhu Zhu pets game is one she just can't put down!
Livie's taking advantage of her busy brother and sister and playing with everything in the room. She's played with HER toys, Madie's toys, and Noah's toys. She's got it made! So far it's a been a great Christmas. Pete's out shoveling, while I type this post. Looking forward to spending the rest of my day with my wonderful family! Hope all of you have had a great Christmas as well!
