Here's are the kids and their fabulous daddy!!!!
Pete was teaching them to skip rocks on the river.
We were all having a great time, until about 40 min into our adventure when Livie suddenly became overcome with thirst (and extreme sleepiness, I think) and cried until we walked all the way back to the van to get her something to drink. Then the kids began arguing about whether to continue our adventure or do something else. So, Pete made the "Fatherly" executive decision to chuck it all and...
go out and get nachoes and slushies - calling it a day. :-) Nothing says "Father's Day" than relaxing with some nachoes and blue raspberry slushies!! So, Happy Father's Day to my wonderful, amazing husband who always puts our family first. Who, even when he's exhausted after a 16 hr trip home from China, is willing to play with the kids until he falls asleep on the floor. And, takes the time to teach them what's important in life and lead by his example what it means to be a great Christian husband and father. They love him to pieces and are so thankful he's their daddy.

Nachos and slushies! What a cool dad! Happy father's day to Pete!
Yeah. That pretty much sums up a good holiday for Pete. Hope Ted is having a fabulous Father's Day too and that you're recovering well. :-)
