They gave her a blank piece of yellow construction paper and gave the kids the instructions to draw something on it. They didn't want us to use crayons, since they'll melt in the laminator. We also couldn't put much on it that had height, because of the laminator. So, Livie decided to go free form and draw all the Thanksgiving-y things she could think of.
This is what she designed. You'll notice a hand-shaped grey turkey. Then a picture of daddy with his baseball hat. There's Spookely the Square Pumpkin, some leaves, Nana and Papa T's house (we go there for every Thanksgiving), a squirrel by a tree, a butterfly and cocoon, and a Blue Jay by his flower. Lots of great Thanksgiving-themed things for her special placemat.
