Classic Movie Week - Day 1

I decided to do something fun and have "Classic Movie Week". There are so many great movies I loved as a kid and want the kids to watch them too! Now, of course, they've already seen Star Wars, E.T., and Indiana Jones. Those are a given for any young kid. But, there are several more that I would feel remiss as a parent if I didn't get them to watch them. Of course, no movie week would be complete without dressing up, right? Can you guess from the picture below what movie we're watching today?








It's "The Goonies"!! No child should go without seeing that fantastic movie! I'll post their review when they are done watching it. And, you'll notice that my kids don't just dress up like regular kids. Livie is a cat pirate and Noah, who's not a fan of the dressing up, just opted for weapons. ;-)

REVIEW : Many exclamations of "That was the best movie ever!" and "AWESOME!" were heard at the end of the movie. A good hour of pirate playing came afterwards.
