Poor Livie hit her head on her toy box tonight and was pretty upset. Thank goodness for boo-boo bunny! Can you see what it is? It's a refreezable ice cube that sits inside a bunny to keep their fingers from getting cold. We didn't have cool things like that when I was a kid. My mom just gave us a ziploc bag of ice cubes that we'd hold on our bumps. Not nearly as cute or handy as good 'ole bbb. Plus, it would leak when the ice melted. This is much better! It's been a healer of my kids for 7 years now. All I have to do is grab it and give it to whoever is crying and all seems to be well in the world again. Noah went and grabbed it for Livie when she started crying. Such a good big brother! And, once she was feeling better they all gave her a group hug to make her laugh. Of course, when I took the picture of her holding the bbb, she wasn't really in too much pain anymore, because she wasn't even holding it ON her boo-boo. She was putting it on the other side of her head. :-) But, at least she felt better.
**During the short course of writing this blog, we had yet another "incident". Madie slammed Livie's fingers in a drawer. She's just getting beat up today! It wasn't really hard, but hard enough to make Livie cry yet again and need more love from her good and trusty bunny friend. More hugs were applied and she is now safely in bed and will (hopefully) remain boo-boo free through the night.

We LOVE boo-boo bunny at our house. We actually have 2 of them. One is pink and was given to us when Rose was born. The other is a more manly green color which I made in MOPS last year sometime. Very useful, although my older kids are outgrowing BBB so he spends a lot of time just sitting in the medicine cabinet waiting to be needed.
They are definitely awesome! Though, I do wish they had boo-boo dinosaur or boo-boo lion just to give it some variety. Madie and Noah don't use our BBB very often anymore either. They'll just use a good old-fashioned ice pack, but sometimes they still want BBB. Livie loves it and wants to use it anytime she gets a scratch. ;-)
