The Clone Wars

Pete was gone for the past few days in Toronto on a business trip. He had told the kids before he left that when he got back he'd take them to see the new Star Wars movie. So, today he took Madie and Noah to see it. Noah even wore his stormtrooper costume. He was really excited. He wasn't allowed to wear the mask, but he at least got to wear the outfit part of it. Madie took her Anakin keychain that she has on her bookbag. All of my kids are Star Wars fans thanks to their daddy, but Livie's still a little young to really get into it like Madie and Noah do. They were so excited and when they came home, they weren't even all in the way in the door before they were telling me all about it. They got activity books there and were showing me the different characters and telling me who was good and who was bad. Sounds like they had a great time! Best of all, my dear, sweet husband refilled the popcorn and water before coming home, so we have a giant tub of it to eat. Yay! Guess since Livie and I didn't get to go, he thought we deserved a little something special. Either that or he was trying to get his money's worth out of a $6 popcorn and a $3 water. ;-) hehe
