She Finally Did It!!

Madie finally lost her tooth!! We went to the dentist on Monday and I think Cindy, the dental asst., kind of helped the process along. So, when we left that day, it was so wiggly, it was nearly ready to come out. When she got home from school yesterday it wouldn't even stay standing up. It was constantly bent backwards. So, this morning, just about 15 min after she woke up, she came running in with her tooth in her hand. :-) It had finally fallen out!! She's soooooo excited! We put it in a baggy, so we don't lose it before she's able to stick it under her pillow tonight. Madie keeps wondering how much money the tooth fairy will bring her. So, we'll have to wait and see. :-) And, she's got another loose one as well. So, looks like my little girl is finally on her way to getting her permanent teeth. We were beginning to wonder if it would ever happen!! Oh, and the reason we were able to be home for her to lose it, instead of at school, is because school was cancelled today due to snow. Perfect timing!
